yes the price is the four parts together.

i will listen to you uniwirth ;) i'll try to form and weld before. if the result is bad, i'll command these new parts.
we can't make new with old .... but we try 8)

Question of the end of the day ! i removed segments of one of the pistons, is it normal le thin part (inside bottom left)? have you ever seen this before ??? it was between the segment and the piston.

hi everybody !

work of the last 2 weeks

first lapping valves, unconventional but effective method !

then it's been a big part of degreasing, cleaning to painting the front cabin and rear. not easy and interesting but have to do. So here yesterday the first layer is placed (this is the original color code or approaching), will remain a second layer on the dashboard et the front roof. i havn't done the floor for the moment

to give an idea it took me two hours to paint it and luckily I was well protected (I insist on that because the health and safety above all) because the atmosphere was unbreathable. otherwise I have left =piece of my beard because ui was not enought cover :lol: :lol: :lol:

I hope that the paint will not screw up because of the temperature by night but I'm confident, i'll go to see the result this afternoon or tomorrowt. it's not perfect but it's home made ! :top:

hi everybody !

not many thing to show because it's only body work.

Today I've sprayed primer phosphating on naked surface and surface with mastic to see the last body defects. final painting will wait for warmer weather of spring.

result : many work on body again !

i've sprayed anti-gravel in the "wheel wall"

to keep up the motivation, i've sprayed the filling primer! so now it will be finition ..... i hate that :mrgreen:

not enought for the moment, i just bought a new toy :P

it's a Renault R2087N 4x4 ambulance (krankenwagen ? ) from 1960 .

but because of my job situation (working far away from where i live), i have to stop the restoration of the mercedes for the moment .... i hop it will just be temporaly ....

back on the forum ! stop playing with the goelette 4x4 ! back from paris for the week end, so i spent my saturday afternoon the 319 !

stripping the suspension, rear break plate and rear axe closing plate :

and the motor is nearly complete !
