Hi Jim,
it's a cool car and you are doing a good job. Some Parts you can look here. I think the original paint is a good choice. I like this thread :top:

work of yesterday ! the problem with bodywork is that we don't have theimpression to move forward and spend three hours on a wingtip it breaks a little motivation but it's the game !

welding the rear right wheel arch:

Bild

welding the rear wing, the bumper hole will better after:

Bild

cleaning up chassis :

Bild

laying mastic, seen like that, it's a little big closet masonry but did nothing, once sanded it should stay much longer:

Bild

i'll return return this morning and sorry for the welds but I have a NOGAZ post, I wanted to invest in a real post MIG but when I saw the prices climbing to over a month salary for me .... it's not possible .... the important thing is that my welds are sturdy!

concerning the monstrous oil consumption (about 1 liter of oil for 100km (percent)) ..... I had assumed that the segments were involved saw that there was no leakage to the ground or into the cooling liquid. they seem good but I have a feeling that the segments are for a 75mm bore, the shirt makes 76mm, so the block has been re-reamed priori .... but without changing the segments? it astonish me ...

anyway, I do not see at all where oil could go otherwise!

Now I will start looking for an engine cover gaskets and engine segments for rebored block

i've created a leechi account where where people can help me to restaore my 319, there is no little gift, every help is welcome ! :)

here is the adress : https://www.leetchi.com/c/l319renaissance

thanks for advance ;)

The colour of the axles is black. But I don't know if glossy or dull.
And what a cool use for that ugly Peugeot front hood :D

you can use rx5 and x10 (which makes the axle nice black and will take the rust to the history...well that;s what they say)

http://www.kieftenklok.nl/shop/index.ph ... 0ml-detail

before the rx10, you can use the rx5

Dachschliff, fast kein Nachhol .... Ich kann nicht glauben, denn mit anderen alten Mercedes, in der Regel wird das Dach durch Rost die Platten Fugen perforiert und fast nichts da entweder .... :D

Hi Jim,
thanks for the great looking pictures.
For me, it would be much easier to understand, if you would write in english.
Lots of the translation results of the google translater don't make any sense in german.
Where do you buy the front wing spares for 370,- EUR?

Hi Jim,
why do you replace the fenders? Your look not bad out. I find you without the expensive spare parts repaired the get  . You can repair itself the. Here are necessary in my opinion, no new items !!! Even the man is .... Welding yes you can :-) and bring in sheet form is not so difficult. I have the same problem and finished the sheet itself. If now the nights are getting longer, it can be the very nice judge himself. And end up with tin all perfect make. :D

Hello !
About the price you show us :
- is it for only one fender or for two fenders ?
- is it for complete fender(s) or just for the bottom part(s) ?

Hello Jean-Manuel,

The Price is for all Fenders complete (complete = for Parts, left and right front and back)

I do not think Jim a complete kit for his 319 required !!?!?

Jim he does not need .
